MS Outlook Express Setup

Outlook Express come pre-installed with any Windows Operating System (OS). It should be fairly easy for you to locate the program.

Step 1: In Outlook Express, [CLICK] Tools menu, [CLICK] Accounts.

Step 2: [CLICK] "Add", [CLICK] "Mail...".

Step 3: Your Name.
Display name: [ENTER] "Your name".
[CLICK] "Next >".

Step 4: Internet E-mail Address.
E-mail address: [ENTER] "Your email address".
[CLICK] "Next >".

Step 5: E-mail Server Names.
My incoming mail server is a [SELECT] "POP3" server.
Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: [ENTER] "mail.yourdomain.com".
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: [ENTER] "mail.yourdomain.com".
[CLICK] "Next >".

Step 6: Internet Mail Logon.
Account name: [ENTER] "Your email address".
Password: [ENTER] "Your password".
Note: [DO NOT ENABLE] "Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)".
[CLICK] "Next >".

Step 7: Congratulations.
[CLICK] "Finish".

Step 8: Internet Accounts.
[SELECT] "mail.yourdomain.com".
[CLICK] "Properties".

Step 9: Servers.
[CLICK] "Servers" tab.
[CHECK] "My server requires authentication".
[CLICK] "OK"
.

Step 10: Complete.
[CLICK] "Close".

Step 11: Your mail is now setup for Outlook Express.
